Capital One Presents Caffeine and Octane at the Atlanta International Auto Show, March 20-24, 2019
Atlanta Braves Hall-of-Famer Chipper Jones joins Capital One in the Auto Navigator Garage for a meet & greet showcasing the next generation of car-buying
PLANO, TEXAS, MARCH 18, 2019 – Capital One is the presenting sponsor of Caffeine and Octane, the largest monthly car show in North America, at the Atlanta International Auto Show (AIAS), March 20-24, 2019. The Capital One Auto Navigator Garage will be onsite at the AIAS, offering an immersive experience for attendees to interact with Auto Navigator, a tool developed to bring transparency to the car buying journey. Atlanta Braves Hall of Fame baseball player Chipper Jones will join Capital One in the Auto Navigator Garage on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 1-3:30 p.m. to discuss how forward leaning immersive technology --such as Auto Navigator --can help consumers with car shopping.
According to a survey commissioned by Capital One, 94 percent of Americans don't find the car buying process to be completely transparent. The same study shows 80 percent of Americans are not confident in the car buying process.
"Capital One launched Auto Navigator with a vision of bringing more transparency to the car shopping experience, drawing on many years we have spent understanding challenges faced by consumers and dealers alike," said David Kang, Managing Vice President, Capital One Auto Finance. "Capital One is bringing Auto Navigator to the Atlanta International Auto Show to let consumers know we're all about car buying--not just car financing. We are thrilled to welcome Chipper Jones to the Auto Navigator Garage this Saturday."
"As a car enthusiast, I appreciate a tool that makes the overall car buying process easier and is in line with how we lead our lives today – tech-minded and highly personalized," said Chipper Jones. "This type of forward-thinking and commitment to improving the consumer experience is a game changer."
Auto Navigator allows consumers to find and finance a car all in one place. Consumers can pre-qualify from their mobile phone -- with no impact to their credit scores -- and fulfill with ease through a dealership. Auto Navigator by Capital One provides a digital inventory of nearly four million cars from more than 13,000 participating dealerships across the nation so consumers have all the information needed to confidently find and finance a car. They can see their personalized APR and monthly payment on each car once they pre-qualify for financing, and customize their offer based on factors such as down payment amounts and different term lengths. In addition, they can get dealer ratings, car reviews, and even access car history reports.
