Canadians Can Earn 20% More Cash With New Aspire Cash Cards
Aspire Cash World to offer 1.5% cash rewards on all net purchases and No Hassle redemption
Toronto, ON (August 23, 2011) – To complement its suite of Aspire rewards products, Capital One Canada announced today that it is launching the new Aspire Cash World MasterCard and Aspire Cash Platinum MasterCard. Geared towards consumers who prefer to get their rewards in the form of cash, the new Aspire Cash credit cards let cardholders earn cash rewards, with no limit on the number of times they can redeem. The Aspire Cash World card offers 1.5% cash rewards and the Aspire Cash Platinum card offers 1% cash rewards on all net purchases.
“We know that Canadians have a lot of options when it come to reward cards, which is why we’re offering 20% more cash as an anniversary bonus for our loyal customers and the opportunity to earn cash rewards on everything they buy, and not just on certain categories,” said Laurel Ostfield, spokesperson, Capital One Canada. “There are also no redemption tiers with Aspire Cash products, which really gives consumers the control to redeem their rewards the way they want to.”
Cardholders will also benefit from a first purchase bonus for both the World and Platinum products, and an anniversary bonus that will see their cash rewards topped up by an extra 20% every year that their account is open. That means if an Aspire Cash customer earns $500 worth of cash rewards during the year, they will receive an additional $100 in cash rewards on their anniversary of being a Capital One customer.
“Flexibility is the cornerstone of our rewards products, and the new Aspire Cash cards are no exception. Cardholders will not only choose when they want to redeem, but also how they want to redeem,” said Ostfield.
The new Capital One Aspire Cash cards include the following features:
Aspire Cash World MasterCard
Aspire Cash Platinum MasterCard
The Aspire Cash cards complement the Aspire Travel cards as part of Capital One’s expanding suite of rewards credit cards designed to meet consumers’ needs. For more information about any of the Aspire products, visit www.capitalone.ca.
